In this post I’ll share how I run CPD Advisors with the 6P Playbook to the streamline my own operations. I included some of the best practices and a link to our starter templates, so you can immediately start Transforming your Chaos into Cashflow. Today.

I am deeply passionate about helping people self-actualize through sharing their unique gifts with the world and believe that I can accomplish this by designing systems and playbooks that elevates your performance to your highest zone of genius and flow.

I hope that some of the elements in this article will be useful for you in your journey.

10 of my common 6P Use Cases (in no particular order)

1. Organize my Day - The Daily Deep Dash

This is home base for the day. When I start my day, I open this up and have a clear picture of:

  • Creation - What educational content I create
  • Action - What tasks I execute
  • Connection - Who I will connect with

Each of these sections have their own workflows (i.e. Check the box when I complete a task, archive a meeting after its completed, shift the status of a piece of content when I send to editor)

Within each of these sections, I have also created different ways to view the same information so that I can make adjustments throughout the day (i.e. move something to tomorrow)

My Deep Dashboard is the key tool that prevents me from having to change tabs throughout the day (it takes over 20 minutes to get back in the zone once you switch tabs).

Executing client tasks more effectively enables me to deliver on projects faster, which increases the number of consulting engagements I can deliver each month.

2. List out my Priorities

You become what you focus on -a boujie aristocrat from the 19th century

Here, I list what I am working towards (I call them Priorities). There are main buckets that I have (i.e. Grow Following, Launch a Product, Improve Operations) with specific Key Results that each of these buckets are narrowing in on.

Most Key Result are tied to a KPI (Key Performing Indicator) that is the measure I assign for each Key Result.

There’s a lot of debate on how to design metrics. My preferred approach is to create a number that is 100% in your control (# of Posts created, # of Emails sent, # of Online Workshops held) instead of metrics that are out of your control such as Likes, Revenue, or people who actually show up.

Some Key Results are just to create big action. Metrics tied to it can be a 0 or 1 or a % complete towards the project.

Dreams are Priorities without a Plan. Therefore, I tie every Key Results to a Project.

Creating the clarity on what to focus on throughout the days and weeks compounds with the completion of each key result.

This applies when completing a client project, launching a product, improving a process and even driving strategic partnerships.

3. Organize my Roadmap

Everyone will always ask you about your Roadmap.

Users, Investors, Team, Community, Partners, etc…

The Roadmap is the visual representation for what the company will create over the foreseeable future.

Just like setting Goals, there are several ways to organize your roadmap.

For simplicity, I use a Now, Next, Later approach. Organizations can also use Timelines with specific dates. In my experience however, no one ever predicts dates properly.

Creating a roadmap helps prioritize the projects that will drive the largest impact in the business.

4. Content Creation

I store all of the content I am creating in one place. I either view it as a Calendar or as a Board (or as a Table).

This helps me stay in the flow as I am writing, recording, and editing across all channels.

This has been a game-changer as I have embarked on the personal branding journey, creating and learning along the way.

Organizing a content schedule and managing the creation process increases the awareness of my brand, products, and services. Higher levels of awareness increases trust which leads to high sales and increases in referrals.

5. Sell Templates on Gumroad

Gumroad is an online marketplace that facilitates the distribution of digital products.

It’s a revolutionary tool that has allowed (notion) creators to earn millions of $s selling their templates. I have 1 template on their as of @November 11, 2022 and plan to add more in the near-future.

Selling templates on Gumroad is a direct source of passive cashflow to your business. This can add up to $10K additional revenue per month depending on how advanced your templates are.

6. Take Notes and Follow-Up after Meetings

Any founder spends between 30-50% of the day on zoom calls.

Sales calls.

Client sessions.

Investor pitches.

Partnership conversations.

These calls become exhausting.

If it weren’t for Zapier connecting my Calendar and Notion, I would have to resort to the dumpster fire of…..Google Drive.

Following my Meeting cycle, I take notes in Notion and list the Follow Up actions at the bottom. These pop back up in my Daily Deep Dash on the day I assign them to.

Diligently following up with all client leads, strategic partners, and collaborators demonstrates a level of confidence to deliver. Never miss a follow up and watch the increasing surge in new sales and partnership opportunities.

7. Host Media Kits and Product Information

How can you make it so easy for colleagues to make a request on your behalf?

One answer is by creating rich visuals to paint a clear picture of that ask.

To support the building of my personal brand, I have created a Media Kit that shows who I am, what I talk about, an overview of my platform, and a summary of podcast interview topics that we can cover.

This asset paints a very clear picture of who I am to the meeting planners and podcast hosts evaluating whether I am a good fit or not.

The same “media kit” template can be used as 1-pagers for products, services, and/or events.

8. Summarize Feedback

WTF-What’s the Feedback-is an important question I always ask my clients.

Collecting Feedback across everything that you do is critical so that you can understand how your clients are winning, how you can shift, and offer the ability to “score” an experience.

image

Another amazing tool, Tally, has a direct integration with Notion and drops the survey responses right inside my database the moment they are completed.

Improving your service causes an increase in value, which increases higher revenue potential.

9. Document SOPs

My Playbooks are the Standard Operating Procedures for running my business.

When I hire a VA to join me on the rocket ship, they will be properly trained with the step-by-step procedure on how to do…everything.

The point of SOPS are so that you can fire yourself from the job by bringing someone else in.

I’ve mapped each Playbook to a team and a role because….I’m crazy like that.

image

Create time in your day by delegating Playbooks to other people. This is the most valuable form of cashflow that can be created.

10. Host my Personal Website

With the help of my friend Luis over at rinconello and the team at Super.so, I created my Personal Website using CSS and a few-okay a LOT- of secret cheat codes. This actual blog post is on a notion page that is covered with Super Pixie Dust, making it look sexy AF.

I’m working on a comprehensive guide of how I set up my website for a future post.

image

Your Personal Website will tell the story for you, so you don’t have to repeat yourself every time someone meets you on the internet. Add useful tools, resources, and gifts here so you can increase the value of the time you spend with clients, family, and loved ones.

These are just a few of the ways that I integrate elements of the 6P Playbook.

I have a starter template that you can grab on the right hand side of this page. You’ll also begin to receive a weekly newsletter on Mondays where I share tips on how you can enhance your business system through implementing what I teach.

I hope you’ve found value in this post.

I would love to hear what your favorite parts are!
